Common questions

Before you reach out

Do you travel for shoots?
Yes — I'm based in Portland but regularly work across the US and internationally. Travel costs (flights, accommodation, per diem) are quoted separately and added to the project invoice at cost.
How far in advance should I book?
I'm typically booked 6–8 weeks out. For larger campaigns or multi-day projects, 10–12 weeks is safer. If you have an urgent need, reach out anyway — I occasionally have last-minute availability.
What does licensing actually mean?
I retain copyright on all images; you receive a license to use them for the agreed-upon purpose. Editorial use, social media, and web use are typically included. Broader commercial rights (billboards, packaging, national advertising) are licensed separately and quoted upfront.
Can I request specific edits to delivered images?
One round of revision requests is included in every project. I handle colour grading, exposure correction, and minor retouching in-house. Extensive compositing or heavy retouching is quoted as an add-on.
